The Neskowin Citizen Advisory Committee (NCAC) is an advisory body to local, state and federal government agencies and citizens. The NCAC is dedicated to promoting communications between the citizens and government bodies on land use and other relevant community issues.

The NCAC held a General Meeting on Saturday, April 13th at 10am.
As the Bylaws revision process is draws, to a close, the Bylaws Subcommittee has forwarded a near-final draft of the proposed new Bylaws to Tillamook County for legal review.

Here is are the remaining important steps of the Bylaws process.
At its May 3rd meeting, the Bylaws Subcommittee will review feedback from Tillamook County Counsel and make any required adjustments.
The NCAC membership will consider the new Bylaws at a special meeting on May 11th. Members will be able to propose amendments to the Bylaws from the floor before a vote to adopt the new Bylaws.

Notices from Tillamook County
A Conditional Use Request for construction of an accessory structure without a dwelling on a lot off of Scherzinger Road has been approved. See the notice from the county.
A variance has been requested regarding driveway frontage and building width at the end of Hillcrest Road, on the knoll overlooking the beach in the South Beach neighborhood of Neskowin. See the Land Use Application on file with the County. The deadline to submit written comment on this application is 4pm on April 12th.
Tillamook County will hold public hearings about a proposed amendment to the Tillamook County Land Use Ordinance that concerns Accessory Dwelling Units and Recreational Vehicles in the Rural Residential 2-Acre and 10-Acre Zone. The Board of County Commissioners will hold a hearing on April 17th at 10am.
